The shortest month full of so much sunshine and rest. Between warm 60 degree days in Denver and a week vacation in Mexico, I’ve left this past month feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

3 Things I’m Loving Lately
- Embroidered monogram pillowcases. I’m not usually a big monogram girl but I have been obsessed with this look. I love the delicate script and the way they feel so simple, yet still like a work of art.
- These solar powered outdoor lamps . I first heard about these from Chris Loves Julia. I got them for our backyard and they do not disappoint. They feel cozy and chic on my outdoor table and recharge on their own during the day by sunlight.
- This tissue box - I am all about elevating normal, boring everyday things. This tissue box stopped me on Pinterest recently and I had to order. I love the unique shape and shiny cream color. It’s on Amazon and only $12.
Life Updates
- AJ and I were so thankful that we got to go to Cancun at the beginning of the month to celebrate his 30th and our 5 year wedding anniversary. We stayed at Excellence resort and it was a truly perfect week. It felt like such a gift. When life is busy and work gets stressful, going to the beach with zero agenda is the best break. We love only having to worry about restaurant choices and UV rays. <3

I also bought this dress for the trip and it is a new favorite.
- One of my best friends from college had her bachelorette in February and hosted us at her family’s gorgeous cabin in the woods in Oklahoma. It was a very chill weekend with the best crew. My friend Mercedes gave each of us embroidered brown sweat suits and I pretty much didn’t take mine off the whole weekend. I met Mercedes working at a summer camp called Kanakuk in 2016 and we both went to Colorado State. I love how weddings bring people together— that weekend felt like a little summer camp reunion.
- I had so much fun hosting a fancy girl dinner party, complete with a hand drawn tablecloth, homemade menu, lots of candles, vision boards, and personalized stationery party favors. I was talking to one of my best friends who lives in Indiana as I was prepping for it a few weeks before, and she not only approved of my vision, but spontaneously bought a flight so she could be there. It was the best way to start off the new year. I felt so thankful and humbled looking around at a table full of the most amazing friends.
Studio Updates
- Four Hands launched their winter collection in February and as always I was an absolute puddle seeing my pieces included. It is always a surreal experience to see pieces that I’ve painted in my studio go to the Las Vegas Market and be picked up by my favorite home brands that I’ve grown up admiring. I am convinced the Four Hands team is the best group of creatives and I love every chance I get to work with them.

- I’ve been working on a couple custom commissions and lots of shop updates this month. I’m excited to be introducing new paper options for all of my paper prints: archival matte, watercolor, cold press, and hot press. The quality is amazing. It is a slow process to manually get them all updated, but keep checking back on the Paper Prints tab. Only a few are up there now but soon all of my pieces will be reflected there. Each print can also now be ordered framed in a selection of finishes—oak, white, walnut, or black.
- If you live in Denver and want to see my originals in person, a few of them are now for sale at HW Home in Cherry Creek! Their storefront is gorgeous and I have loved working with their team. I got to host a popup there on Valentine’s Day, selling my prints and originals and live painting for a few hours. It was such a fun afternoon. My parents stopped by, friends surprised me, the weather was beautiful. Lots of people stopped in for the Cherry Creek Art Walk.
